Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton Maldives was a masterclass in luxury hospitality. From start to finish, the experience was a genuine 11/10. While the architecture and the Fari Islands setting are breathtaking, it is the team that makes this property world-class. The F&B program is the best we’ve encountered globally. Naseem (F&B Operations) is an exceptional leader; his attention to detail and commitment to the guest experience were evident every day. Chefs Abhay Singh and Gopi went completely out of their way to create personalized culinary moments that were the highlight of our trip. Under the leadership of Head Chef Mohamed, every meal was flawless. Special thanks to: Ford (Our Butler): Intuitive, proactive, and made everything seamless. Shafraz: Made every breakfast memorable with his warmth. Isco: Professional and attentive service at La Locanda. Yassir: Impeccable hospitality at Summer Pavilion. Alise: Fantastic energy and service at Eau Bar. Ammu: Great care and service at Arabesque and Tum Tum. This resort is the gold standard. If you want the best of the Maldives, look no further. We cannot wait to return!

I chose this property for a proposal that was incredibly important to me, and I truly could not have imagined a more perfect setting or team. The moment itself was once in a lifetime and will be a memory we carry with us forever. The level of care, discretion, and execution surrounding the proposal was exceptional. What truly distinguishes this property is the people. From the moment we arrived, every detail felt intentional and personal. Each day we were welcomed back to thoughtful gifts and surprises in our villa, small but meaningful touches that made the entire stay feel celebratory and unforgettable. We are incredibly grateful for the passion you bring to your craft. • Oscar and Dan, along with the leadership team: It is very clear this is a property run with intention, pride, and excellence. The culture you have built is felt in every interaction. One final note that says everything: after checking out, we canceled our original hotel plans in Bangkok and rebooked with the Ritz-Carlton there, purely because of how extraordinary this experience was and how highly your team spoke about the Bangkok property. We will absolutely be returning, and next time we will be bringing family so they can experience what you’ve created here. One year later and there isn’t a week that goes by that I don’t remember something amazing about my trip, or start thinking about how I can plan another visit. The service, food, accommodations, everything was top tier! My husband and I went for our honeymoon last November 2024, and we’ve stayed at a few Ritz properties around the globe but Fari Islands staff truly exemplify the Ritz promise and made our stay absolutely incredible. Breakfast buffet was so incredible and the assortment of global foods was very well curated. Highly recommend to start your day. Arabesque was probably our favorite meal. Ambiance and food were spectacular Indian cuisine. And there is a James Turell exhibit on the island as well. We did several excursions but the two that stand out were the jet skis (saw dolphins, went to a private sand bank) and the wine tasting. The sommelier was from LA like us and because there was a large group was able to pull out all the stops! Very thoughtful selection of wines from old world and new. And our Aris Meeha (butler) was absolutely amazing! We felt very spoiled and it was nice to have someone take care of changes in our itinerary, getting us from across the island for meals, and making our stay special. We were also there for my birthday and everyday there was a small token or gift in our room. Thinking about one of our anniversaries for another trip and can’t wait to go back!
