About

A team of three,
one editorial obsession.

We are a small team — three people, based in different parts of the world — reviewing the most considered luxury hotels and resorts on earth. Our goal is to make finding the right one effortless.

LuxuryHotels.best is an independent editorial guide. Three of us write it, and we share one simple mission — that booking a luxury hotel should feel as considered as the stay itself, and that the guide you trust to help you should be free of paid placements, sponsorships, and hidden incentives.

Although we work from different cities most of the year, our main office is at Sankt Eriksgatan 6, 411 05 Gothenburg, Sweden. From there we coordinate editorial, respond to readers, and run a small private travel-booking and activities service for a limited circle of guests. If you'd like help building an itinerary or booking something the hotels themselves can't easily arrange, email contact@luxuryhotels.best — we take on a few requests at a time.

The editorial standard is straightforward. Every hotel here is cross-checked across Google, Booking.com, Tripadvisor, Agoda and Hotels.com — and we read what real travelers say on Reddit, Instagram and TikTok. We screen aggressively for fake and incentivised reviews, weighting only verified, recent, substantive guest feedback. We write about what the photographs do not show: the lobby at 8am, the floor you should request, the breakfast worth waking up for, and the things that could be better.

We accept no paid placements. We do not run sponsored reviews. When affiliate links earn a small commission, it's disclosed, and it never influences which hotels appear here.

Our long-term ambition is plain: to become the world's most trusted destination for finding the perfect luxury hotel — whatever country, whatever occasion. We're not there yet. We're getting closer every week.

Found something we got wrong, or know a hotel we ought to include? Please write to us.
