InterContinental Hotels Costa Rica at Multiplaza Mall

The InterContinental Costa Rica at Multiplaza Mall is a splendid 5-Star hotel located about 30-minutes west of San Jose’ in the San Rafael de Escazú province. The rooms are bright and comfortable. The large marble bathrooms are sparking clean with tub/shower. The room features a coffee/tea bar area with refrigerator. The entire staff is very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast is outstanding with made-to-order omelets, and a huge selection of other breakfast fare. The hotel features two large pools at the tropical pool/lounge area in the center courtyard. The enormous Multiplaza Mall just across the street has every kind of shopping store imaginable, and the expansive Auto Mercado grocery store. The onsite Spa is available for massage, steam and sauna and is very busy, so book spa treatments in advance. The Spa also has a great workout room with new treadmills, free-weights, and lifting machines. Getting into San Jose’ is best by the taxis always just outside the front of the hotel, or private car or tour which can be arranged at the Concierge Desk.

We had a great time this nye and stayed at the hotel too. Very nice place. Super easy to find and close to shopping.

We recently hosted the Doer Fitness Meet & Greet at the InterContinental, and the experience was absolutely outstanding. Our event, which featured top-tier CrossFit athletes and coaches, drew a crowd of over 200 people and included an exclusive VIP dinner. From the initial planning stages to the day of the event, the staff at the InterContinental was incredibly professional, accommodating, and attentive to every detail. The conference space was perfectly set up for our panel discussion and the subsequent meet and greet, and the ambiance for the VIP dinner was superb. Thanks to the seamless organization and excellent service provided by the hotel, our event was a resounding success. We have received nothing but positive feedback from both the athletes and our attendees. We wholeheartedly recommend the InterContinental to any organization looking to host a high-caliber event.
