Wellington Hotel and Spa Madrid

My wife and I enjoyed a beautiful stay at the Wellington Hotel in Madrid. It was for four nights during an important transitional moment for us; moving from one flat to another. The location was perfect, the room very comfortable and cozy, the service impeccable. We are now settled but if the necessity should arise again, I would not think twice about returning. Highly recommend. Thank you very much.

We love staying at the Wellington. This time we had a recently renovated room, it was beautiful and quiet overseeing the pool. Everyone is kind and helpful. Our favorite part of the day is to start with the most amazing breakfast at the Wellington and finish the day enjoying a drink at the bar. Its location is excellent, a few steps from El Retiro Park, a couple of blocks from Serrano streets, and in the middle of Salamanca, surrounded by the most beautiful shops and our favorite part of Madrid, excellent restaurants and museums.

This is simply a great hotel, staffed by wonderfully genuine staff. It’s all what you would expect from a well established five star hotel. We arrived by car for two nights, with two small Yorkshire Terriers. The pre-booked parking was a godsend and we could not have done it without a concierge, turned traffic warden! The room, we felt, was expensive for its size, with a very poor view but, in truth, this is central Madrid. The room itself was excellent, with a big cosy bed. Breakfast was very good but what really surprised us was the room service, which was great value and the food was excellent. A lovely comfy treat, right in the centre of Madrid.
