Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve

Omfg. Loved. Loved. Loved!!!! From the moment you walk in to this resort, you’re just treated with the best care. Every touch point in this resort is consistent. The food at the restaurants can have a bit of a wait, but it’s nothing that changes the overall experience. Our Embajador team, (mostly Raysa and Miguel) were incredible. I prob shouldn’t share this, but they were booked for massages the only day we had available (we booked our stay here last min), and they went out of their way to get us access into the spa (which was awesome!) Those extra little efforts make the WORLD of a difference. Multiple restaurants to choose from, multiple pools, beautiful beach, great service. The landscaping and the property was unmatched! Also, the fitness classes were super fun and food was excellent. We ate a lot of popsicles. Highly recommend.

Everything about the resort is amazing. The spa, pools, golf course were all in great condition. We enjoyed having the bikes outside our room and being able to ride around the complex. We also enjoyed the rum you get when you first arrive.

I stayed at the Dorado Ritz-Carlton over the summer, and I’m embarrassed to say I’m writing this review a bit late, as soon as I returned home, life hit me fast with a pile of work deadlines and a family situation that needed my full attention. But even with all that going on, I still haven’t stopped thinking about this trip, which says everything you need to know. This was, without exaggeration, the best travel experience I have ever had. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, everything felt magical. The employees are truly what make this place unforgettable. Every single person we encountered went above and beyond, and the level of warmth and genuine care is something you simply can’t put a price on. We stayed in one of the rooms with its own private pool directly in front of the beach, and waking up to that view felt surreal. The room itself was immaculate: luxurious, serene, and designed to melt stress away the second you step inside. But the real heart of Dorado Beach is the Embajador Team. They elevated the stay from amazing to life-changing. Thank you, Trent, Angel, and Chen, you three are extraordinary. Your attention to detail, kindness, and ability to anticipate needs before we even voiced them made the entire experience feel personalized and special. You turned a vacation into a memory my family and I will cherish forever. If you are considering staying at the Ritz-Carlton Dorado Beach, do it. I’ve traveled all over, and nothing compares. I cannot wait to return.
