Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve

This resort for us redefined what a vacation can be. The surroundings, the grounds, the room and views, the service, and the food all far exceeded expectations. We found many quiet moments of joy throughout every day that we were there. But above all else, in this difficult world, my husband and I value kindness and gentleness above all other experiences. Being greeted with warmth and genuineness 20 or 30 times a day is a balm for the soul. The staff at Dorado Beach are the most wonderful people and the best combination of Puerto Rican authenticity and luxury resort. We will re-enter our regular busy lives fully restored. Thank you for this experience.

Omfg. Loved. Loved. Loved!!!! From the moment you walk in to this resort, you’re just treated with the best care. Every touch point in this resort is consistent. The food at the restaurants can have a bit of a wait, but it’s nothing that changes the overall experience. Our Embajador team, (mostly Raysa and Miguel) were incredible. I prob shouldn’t share this, but they were booked for massages the only day we had available (we booked our stay here last min), and they went out of their way to get us access into the spa (which was awesome!) Those extra little efforts make the WORLD of a difference. Multiple restaurants to choose from, multiple pools, beautiful beach, great service. The landscaping and the property was unmatched! Also, the fitness classes were super fun and food was excellent. We ate a lot of popsicles. Highly recommend.

Everything about the resort is amazing. The spa, pools, golf course were all in great condition. We enjoyed having the bikes outside our room and being able to ride around the complex. We also enjoyed the rum you get when you first arrive.
