Hotel D’Angleterre

The Hotel D'Angleterre is an exceptional experience that is in the heart of central Copenhagen, offering immediate access to all that Copenhagen has to offer. A concierge experience for bikes rental would have been appreciated in such a bike friendly city, and while every aspect of the hotel was immaculate, the one that was not was the technology for room keys and facility access, making using the fitness center nearly impossible. The beautiful design of the hard plastic key fobs fails to allow access and required hunting down multiple staff members to try and open the door. But even this minor nuisance paled in comparison to the overall exceptional experience. Not only did this stay encourage me to return to Copenhagen, it completely impressed upon me the beauty of Denmark and was the perfect first impression. Well done Hotel D'Angleterre.

Our room was beautifully appointed, with plush furnishings, high ceilings, and a stunning view of Kongens Nytorv. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and every detail—from the quality of the linens to the thoughtful amenities—exuded sophistication and care.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine warmth and professionalism that made our experience truly unforgettable. A special thank you to Maya, the best reservations manager we’ve ever encountered—organized, thoughtful, and incredibly accommodating. She made everything seamless from start to finish. We were also lucky to be looked after by Boris, the assistant manager, whose calm presence and attention to detail made every day smoother and more enjoyable. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, thanks to Lana, the finest breakfast server we’ve ever met. She took extraordinary care of our group, especially the three vegan diners, making sure everything met our requirements, and knowing our preference every morning. Her kindness and effort set a tone of genuine hospitality that stayed with us throughout the trip. The rooms were elegant and immaculate, the dining was exceptional, and the service across the board was world-class. This is a hotel that truly understands luxury and delivers it with heart.
