Wapa di Ume Sidemen

Absolutely fantastic trip. We were only supposed to stay 2 nights but we stayed 4. We stayed in the suite room and then in the luxury tent with pool and they were both beautiful. I preferred the suite room because it was really bright and airy with gorgeous views. The tent is darker but you get a separate pool, breakfast and other bonuses. Indah was a delightful host in the tent area, we are so glad to have met her as well as Adi. And we booked a great trek with Wari who was lovely! The staff at this hotel are amazing. Budi is a great host too who welcomed us and extended our stay. We had everything we wanted from this gorgeous oasis. Do not hesitate to book. The food, the people and the surroundings are perfect!

We spent two nights here during our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The hotel is stunning, surrounded by mesmerizing rice terraces and peaceful nature. The staff were wonderful and made us feel so welcome. A special thank you to Gede, the local guide, who took us on an amazing trek through the rice fields, showed us beautiful panoramic views, and shared local traditions of Sidemen. His great English and friendly personality made our stay even more special. Highly recommended – a true highlight of our trip!

This is an absolutely gorgeous hotel set in the beautiful Sidemen. It is tranquil, quiet and stunning views at every turn - very different to what you experience elsewhere in Bali! The pool setting is incredible - I think probably the nicest view we’ve had from a pool area at a hotel. On top of this, the staff are just wonderful. They are really helpful and friendly and just lovely people. We did a day trip through the hotel to Gembleng waterfall with Hardi as our guide, and he was great to have with us and we would definitely recommend this trip and him as a guide. We also went to Koli Koli for a few hours another day and Wayan drove us there and back for free, which was really kind and we enjoyed chatting to him in the car! Thank you too to Pande for all of his help on the last night sorting out breakfast to go and checking our airport transport for us. A lot of 5 star hotels have a lot to learn from Wapa Di Ume - we would love to come back one day and would absolutely recommend it to others if you want a peaceful holiday in a slice of real Bali with beautiful views and beautiful staff!
