Como Uma Canggu

We have been traveling 3 weeks around Bali and from all hotels we‘ve been to, this one we liked the most. The hotel is very modern, great pool and awesome location close to the beach and also ideal for surfing. The staff is friendly, rooms are spacious and even there is an indoor and outdoor shower. The location is very centric and a lot of nice restaurants and bars are within walking distance. As well this hotel had the best gym of all of the hotels we have been visiting. There is even a high quality surf board rental shop right next to it which we figured out is not something usual either here as my partner does not have an own surf board anymore.

I don’t know where to begin with my standing ovation. My husband and I stayed for only two nights at Como Uma but our experience stood out as the best hotel we can remember staying in. The breakfast was superb, fresh, generous, and fueled us for the whole day. Our server, Adi, was beyond kind. I stubbed my toe pretty badly, and a man named Emu was at my table in under a minute to first aid my wound. I had a facial at the spa and Indah gave me the most tailored experience complete with scalp, arm and face massage. It was heaven and the products were of the best quality. The entire reception and housekeeping staff tended to our every need. Wulan was caring during check in and made sure when we extended our stay that we wouldn’t have to change rooms. She went above and beyond for me. Every detail was counted for. The bath salts, robes, slippers, glass bottled water, gorgeous gym, sunset beach location and the pools were all dreamy! Bottom line, stay here and book one night longer than you’ll think you want. Trust me.

It’s beyond gorgeous — that shimmering turquoise stretch surrounded by palms and sunbeds had me floating between reality and paradise. Add to that the food — fresh, nourishing, insanely flavorful — I still dream about their breakfast bowls and fresh juices. Every bite was crafted like art. And then… the COMO Shambhala massage. Oh. My. Goodness. I’ve had spa treatments all over the world, and this one was transcendental. The therapists are absolute magicians — it’s not just a massage, it’s a full-body, soul-level reset. I came out of there floating. But what truly makes Uma Canggu shine is the service. Every staff member greets you with such genuine warmth — not the rehearsed kind, but the kind that makes you feel seen, cared for, and completely spoiled. They anticipate what you need before you even say it. Honestly, if you’re even thinking about staying here — stop thinking. Just book it. Uma Canggu COMO is a 12/10 experience — the ultimate blend of style, serenity, and soul. I left feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and already plotting my return.
