InterContinental Hotels Bora Bora Resort Thalasso Spa

My stay at the Thalasso Spa in Bora Bora was unforgettable. The overwater villas were spacious, beautifully furnished, and offered complete privacy — a true dream come true. The staff were always kind, smiling, and genuinely helpful, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. Even though some renovation work was taking place, it was barely noticeable and didn’t affect the comfort of the stay at all (we spent the weekend there - not sure if there is the same at bussines days). The daily activities were a real highlight — I especially enjoyed the coconut-opening show, which was both fun and authentic. I also appreciated the complimentary minibar and the thoughtful welcome drink and snack in the room — the lemon cake, if I remember correctly, was simply delicious. Dinner at the Corail Restaurant was a very pleasant experience. While it may not fully match the standards of a top European five-star restaurant, it was still very good and beautifully served. Generally, the dining experience wasn't the best, but hey - we're in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Overall, Thalasso Spa is a perfect place to rest, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of Bora Bora. I would love to come back one day and can truly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and elegant getaway. PS. There are no fishes around the OWBs

This hotel was amazing! The staff are so kind and helpful, the rooms are gorgeous, and the whole motu (the whole island the hotel is on) is beautiful. I have TONS of severe food allergies and the entire waitstaff, especially the food and beverage manager, Antoine, went way out of their way to accommodate me. They made me allergy-safe food at meals, whether or not what I wanted was on the menu. It was a wonderful experience! The concierge guy Paul even wrote me a handwritten note hoping I was ok when I messed up my back on an excursion on the main island and picked us up personally at the dock to drive us back to our room in a golf cart so we wouldn't have to walk. The hotel even sent us a taxi on the main island when we had no money on us and needed to get back. The spa is lovely, the pool was excellent, and though there's not a ton of coral to snorkel in out in front by the rooms, the lagoon they have was actually one of the best places I have ever snorkeled! There were TONS of clownfish, pufferfish, clams, and more! Our stay could not have been better! Could not more highly recommend, especially for folks with food allergies like myself.

Spent 6 nites / 7 days at the Thalasso Resort. Spent time around the resort as well as on the island of Bora Bora. Trip was so worth it! Everything was wonderful! Spent our time in over water bungalo #128. Very quiet but not so far from the main resort. Food was amazing and staff were phenomenal. My wife said the pictures are exactly the same as being there. Highly recommend the IHG Thalasso Spa & Resort!
