Corinthia Palace Malta

I came to Malta as a solo traveller for 5 days and stayed in a Grand Deluxe Room. The room was spacious with plenty of seating and a beautiful balcony. A mini fridge and tea/coffee making facilities were available. The en-suite shower room was well equipped with all necessary personal care amenities as well as bath robes, slippers, and a Dyson hairdryer. The hotel itself is palatial with elegant decor. There are a number of great restaurants as well as a cafe bar in reception providing coffee/tea, healthy smoothies and snacks. I dined at the onsite Michelin Star restaurant, Bahia - the food was beautifully presented and tasted absolutely delicious. The onsite gym facilities were great - the weights area was well equipped and of a high standard. There was a separate cardio room - plenty of choice and on the whole acceptable for use during a holiday. The bikes were average however and I ended up seeking a spin studio outside of the hotel. The pool/spa facilities looked beautiful. Due to sightseeing every day, I didn’t use these. Staff were welcoming and friendly. All housekeeping staff were exceptional - they went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay and nothing seemed too much trouble. The hotel location is perfect. I hired a car during my stay, however transport options and Bolt taxis were available if needed.

I’m not going to spend much time talking about how beautiful this place is, or how nice the gym is, or how incredible the indoor pool feels, or how remarkably elegant the outdoor pool looks—or how you can sense the historical ambience in every hallway, like you’re walking through an actual palace. All of that is true, of course. I should also mention it’s the best breakfast I’ve ever had, served in one of the most stunning restaurants imaginable—both timeless and perfectly fancy. But what really made this trip extraordinary wasn’t the architecture or the food. It was the people. This hotel has the best staff I’ve ever encountered anywhere. From the restaurant team—especially the ladies at breakfast, who made me feel like a prince (though at my age, maybe “king” is more accurate)—to the reception crew, everyone went so far above and beyond. I want to especially mention three people at the front desk: a trainee (I only know him by his name tag), just found out it is Abdul , along with Pedro and Adriana. They were all so kind, attentive, and endlessly patient. Even with how busy the hotel was, they never showed a hint of stress. Somehow, despite its size, the place feels calm and spacious—almost private—and that’s in no small part thanks to their warmth and professionalism. And then there’s Deepak, Chloe, and Harish, who took care of me at the restaurant by the pool and around the pool itself. Their customer service was exceptional—genuine, thoughtful, and full of grace. They made me feel not just welcome, but lucky to be here. Yasin as a waiter is the best. And I wish I could have people with his customer service in America So yes—stay here. I would gladly pay double what we did and still consider it an incredible deal.

We were so delighted with Corinthia Palace. The staff have been superb - all of them! Always greet you with a good morning, or hello, and a big smile. Very helpful. Exceptional service. And when something goes awry, they fix the problem promptly. Highly recommended. Great restaurants too!
