Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris

My stay at the Letitia Hotel has been nothing short of magical as I celebrate my birthday here in Paris. I'm delighted to say I am still enjoying this Parisian paradise, and tonight, the celebration continues as I have my birthday dinner at the hotel’s restaurant! From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this is a place where exceptional hospitality is the standard, not the exception. The staff at the Letitia Hotel are truly remarkable—friendly, incredibly attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They have created an atmosphere that feels personalized and warm, making every interaction a pleasure. Beyond the stellar service, the hotel's dedication to quality is evident everywhere: the property is super clean and immaculate. My sleep is blissful, thanks to the comfortable bed and excellent, high-quality bedding that makes it difficult to leave each morning. The hotel itself is a destination. The architecture boasts typical Parisian splendor, housed in a beautiful building that radiates classic elegance and charm, instantly immersing you in the local culture. Furthermore, the location is great, offering perfect access to explore the best of Paris. A special mention must go to the breakfast: the pastries are simply sublime and worth waking up for! They are fresh, flaky, and the perfect start to a day of birthday sightseeing. In closing, I must extend my sincerest congratulations to the management team. It takes great leadership to foster such a positive and guest-focused environment. Thank you for inspiring your staff to consistently be their best; it clearly shines through in the service. I will be sad to leave tomorrow !

Great hotel and location. We were welcomed by Pierre at the front desk who facilitated our check-in process. We were giving a complementary upgrade which was a nice touch as we are celebrating our wedding anniversary. they even placed rose pedals on our bed and in bath …classy and nice romantic touch ! it is located in great neighborhood in 6th district and is close to Le Bon Marche for shopping. The building is historic and beautiful with great art deco touches and beautiful original artwork especially seen in Bar Joséphine. . The original Romanesque frescoes in Bar Josephine are truly remarkable and worth a visit. The public spaces are amazing and one needs to appreciate them . . . For example there is a wonderful first floor library which is an excellent tranquil respite from all the hustle and bustle of a metropolitan city like Paris. We used it after having a late night drink at Bar Joséphine and perused their wonderful diverse book collection! Concierge also was helpful giving us recommendations for off beaten path activities/excursions and we ultimately went to see photography art exhibition at Musee Maillol of Robert Doisneau We saw most iconic shots by the great Robert Doisneau, the amazing French photographer who captured moments and elevated snapshots of French citizens especially French children and is well known for the iconic photograph titled “The Kiss at the Hotel de Ville” We didn’t use their spa, gym or pool but went by to check out and looked enticing. Breakfast was included in our rate and was at great restaurant with buffet options and seats outside overlooking busy Parisian street. we sat outside to take in a typical Parisian Monday morning. First time staying in this neighborhood and hotel and won’t be last as had wonderful stay !!!

What an extraordinary hotel with exceptional service. From the moment arrived I felt cared for. The concierge, all day dining team, guest services and housekeeping were all lovely and efficient. The pool and gym area are full of fun and difficult things to do- including the cold plunge. The food was delicious. Will return after I’ve saved up enough again to do so.
