Stayed at this resort with family members. outstanding stay. the thing that rises above all is the service and food. the most helpful people from front desk, to waiters and waitresses and bar staff. Everyone offering to help. The food was outstanding and everything tasted great. Huge selection but I did eat in the black and white steak house 5 of the 7 days. Surf and turf outstanding. I am a 69 year old male with bad knees so this review is for others like me. Positive - Service and food. When getting food with my walking stick every time they offered to take my plate to the table. Main pool has a ledge across so I did not have to stand in the pool for any length. Railings around every entrance so easy to get in and out. Ocean beach very calm I had no trouble getting in an out. Walk in shower made it easy. Place laid out great everything close so not a lot of walking. Negatives - not much, just minor stuff. One of the elevators in our wing not working so several times we could not get on a crowded elevator and had to wait for the next one. Hotel is showing its age, room chipped tile, minor stuff like that. Unfortunately in our room bed and pillow uncomfortable and they actually put the mattress on a frame much smaller so when I sat on the side of the bed since it was hanging out 4 or 5 inches I had to be careful not to fall off when mattress bended. Only one outlet by bed so bring an extension cord. No USB ports. Only 2 bathrooms that I found in the resort. One in the lobby by gift shop and the other in the basement under the buffet restaurant. There is a ramp going from main floor to basement but you need to take the stairs from restaurant level to first level (then stairs to basement or take ramp) just for people with bad mobility. Otherwise a beautiful, clean, wonderful resort that I would highly recommend. Service outstanding and food is great. I plan to visit again.

    Areas for Improvement

    Guest Feedback

The hotel must urgently renovate its outdated facilities and address sanitation issues, as guests reported rusty, moldy rooms with foul-smelling water, as well as finding cockroaches in a restaurant and experiencing food poisoning.

    Guest Feedback

The resort needs to significantly improve its communication and management of guest services, as guests experienced a lack of responsiveness to complaints, rude staff, and were unable to book specialty restaurants due to long waitlists and lack of availability.

    Guest Feedback

The hotel should enhance its food and beverage quality, as guests complained about an inadequate breakfast buffet, unappetizing food, and a limited beverage selection that did not match the standards of an all-inclusive resort.
