Honest review
What could be better
- —The hotel must immediately address and eliminate the toxic and dishonest service culture, tackling instances where a waiter smugly lies about reserved window seats and staff threaten to deny liability for injuries instead of providing basic medical assistance (taxi/ambulance).
- —Management must ensure immediate transparency regarding property condition, correcting the deliberate failure to inform guests of noisy construction work (banging, sawing) directly above occupied rooms and ceasing the misleading practice of advertising complimentary upgrades or packages that are unavailable due to renovation.
- —The management must standardize front-of-house operations, ensuring doormen are consistently available to assist guests (preventing them from struggling with luggage through revolving doors) and properly training staff on how to access and honor special package components.

How we choose
Every hotel on this list is cross-checked across Google, Booking.com, Tripadvisor, Agoda and Hotels.com — plus first-hand traveler accounts on Reddit, Instagram, and TikTok. We screen aggressively for fake or incentivised reviews and weight only verified, recent, substantive guest feedback. We accept no paid placements and no sponsored reviews. When affiliate links earn a small commission, we disclose it; it never influences which hotels appear here.
