Honest review
What could be better
- —The hotel must urgently align service protocols with Marriott Bonvoy standards, eliminating the unacceptable practice of denying complimentary Platinum breakfast access and refusing the guaranteed 4:00 PM late checkout for eligible members.
- —Food and beverage quality/execution require a drastic overhaul, addressing widespread reports of "underwhelming," "limited," and highly overpriced breakfast offerings, and eliminating fundamental dining flaws like serving poor quality room service (non-Neapolitan pizza).
- —Management must immediately address the poor guest value and environmental factors, eliminating the noise and fish/cooking odors filtering into lower-floor rooms from the vibrant street and ensuring all booked rooms and beds (King vs. Queen) are correctly allocated upon arrival.

How we choose
Every hotel on this list is cross-checked across Google, Booking.com, Tripadvisor, Agoda and Hotels.com — plus first-hand traveler accounts on Reddit, Instagram, and TikTok. We screen aggressively for fake or incentivised reviews and weight only verified, recent, substantive guest feedback. We accept no paid placements and no sponsored reviews. When affiliate links earn a small commission, we disclose it; it never influences which hotels appear here.
