Honest review
What could be better
- —The hotel must immediately address and compensate for the failure of guest safety and tranquility, eliminating the unacceptable and rude practice of loud emergency alarms being activated without warning during sleep hours, and ending staff excuses for non-stop disruption caused by night work.
- —Service execution and professionalism across all teams require a radical overhaul, addressing reports of staff being visibly "busy" or "burdened" by basic guest requests and ensuring housekeeping performs reliable service instead of routinely failing to clean rooms or simply saying "We will take care of it."
- —Management must immediately implement a flexible, empathetic policy for reservation changes due to illness, eliminating the inflexible refusal of simple date changes when guests are sick, which directly led to guests expressing disappointment in the brand's lack of care.

How we choose
Every hotel on this list is cross-checked across Google, Booking.com, Tripadvisor, Agoda and Hotels.com — plus first-hand traveler accounts on Reddit, Instagram, and TikTok. We screen aggressively for fake or incentivised reviews and weight only verified, recent, substantive guest feedback. We accept no paid placements and no sponsored reviews. When affiliate links earn a small commission, we disclose it; it never influences which hotels appear here.
