Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest Beach and Golf Resort

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful and that was due in large part to the staff there. Michael at reception gave us such a warm and lovely welcome, he truly is a gem with such a fun and vibrant personality. He immediately started off our stay with great vibes and glasses of bubbly. Johnny the bellman quickly and efficiently helped us with our luggage and gave us excellent tips on how to navigate our room and the property, all while being incredibly personable. The room was beautiful and clean, with a beautiful view of the rainforest. We dined at Coastal Kitchen for dinner and had a great meal (ribs and swordfish were delicious!), as well as the to go counter for breakfast (an unexpected gourmet breakfast sandwich that impressed my husband and I). We also dined at Iguanas which was absolutely incredible - the staff and the food was faultless, the drinks were top notch too! We only used the adults only pool and while it is small we enjoyed the good music and the wonderful drinks (funky monkey 👌). All in all we had a wonderful time and would love to stay at this property again.

Every year our team actually *begs* to come back, which says everything about the experience. From the moment you arrive, the **service, food, and overall hospitality are outstanding**. The staff consistently goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels welcomed and taken care of. Coordinating a large group can be complicated, but the team at Rio Mar makes it feel seamless. The **group event coordination is exceptional**, and the resort is incredibly well suited for large corporate gatherings. Everything from meals to event spaces to logistics runs smoothly, which makes a huge difference when managing a trip of this size. Even beyond corporate events, this resort would be fantastic for **families, couples, or anyone looking for a beautiful getaway**. The **food is excellent and the facilities feel truly luxurious**, from the pools and beach to the restaurants and overall property. A special shout-out to **Charlotte DeJesus**, who has been absolutely fantastic to work with. Her communication, responsiveness, and dedication to making every detail perfect have made our planning process so much easier each year. We’re already looking forward to the next trip and would highly recommend Wyndham Grand Rio Mar to anyone planning a large group event or simply looking for a wonderful vacation destination.

Our stay at Wyndham Grand Rio Mar was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The adult pool was a highlight—relaxing, beautiful, and made even better by the incredible service from Adriana, who truly went above and beyond. The kids loved the waterpark, which was clean, exciting, and perfect for families, while the resort’s oceanfront location meant easy access to a clean, beautiful beach just steps away. Food across the resort was consistently good, the casino was lively and fun, and the on-site shops were super convenient for grabbing any last-minute items. Overall, it was the perfect mix of relaxation, entertainment, and family fun! Less than 30 minutes from the airport too!
