My girlfriend and I stayed at Andaz Singapore on the day of Singapore Grand Prix 2025, redeeming a Category 1-7 Free Night Award. As a World of Hyatt Globalist, I was truly impressed by the thoughtful front desk team who arranged a corner room with a fantastic track view for us. Although we didn't get a suite upgrade this time, the room was incredibly spacious, and we got to watch a spectacular F1 race right from our window! I also really appreciate the hotel's commitment to sustainability. Instead of providing standard single-use plastic bottles, the room was equipped with an in-room filtered drinking water tap and two special reusable water pitchers. It's a brilliant eco-friendly touch. When it comes to dining, my girlfriend and I have always been huge fans of 665°F. Their steak quality is consistently top-notch. We had their special F1 race day set menu, and it was as stunning as always. We kept our room card as a wonderful souvenir, and we were also pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary Mid-Autumn mooncake gift box from the hotel. We absolutely loved the flavors! Although it’s a bit of a pity that we weren’t selected as winners in the recent "Be More Foodie. Be More Fulfilled." social media contest, it doesn't diminish our love for this property at all. We hope to have the opportunity to dine at their other excellent restaurants, like 5 ON 25, on our next visit. Looking forward to seeing Andaz Singapore continue to excel!

I had the opportunity to experience The Magic Table at Andaz Singapore, a thoughtfully curated immersive dining concept that seamlessly blends refined gastronomy with theatrical storytelling. More than a conventional dinner, it is a multi-sensory journey designed to engage guests through subtle interaction and elegant presentation. From the outset, the table itself became part of the narrative. Through understated visual projections and carefully choreographed moments, guests are invited to perform simple, refined gestures that “unlock” each course. This interactive element added a sense of wonder without overwhelming the experience, maintaining a clear balance between entertainment and sophistication. The culinary execution was equally deliberate. Each dish was thoughtfully aligned with the unfolding storyline, delivering both visual finesse and well-balanced flavours. Highlights included The Royal Tartare, a delicate yellowfin tuna tartare brightened with avocado, ginger and kaffir lime, followed by The Magicians’ Circle, where 18-hour slow-cooked Black Angus short rib was paired with seared king scallops, parsnip purée and gremolata, showcasing depth and precision. The experience concluded with The Final Illusion, a polished dessert of Jivara chocolate, Alphonso mango, golden passion fruit and hazelnut feuilletine, offering a playful yet elegant finale. What stood out most was how seamlessly the theatrical elements complemented the cuisine. Rather than overshadowing the food, the immersive storytelling elevated the overall experience, allowing both artistry and gastronomy to shine in equal measure. Overall, The Magic Table is a distinctive and enchanting dining experience, thoughtfully executed and well-suited for special occasions or those seeking something beyond traditional fine diningrefined, engaging and memorable.
